i was a Fwd lover but sold my DA and now im a 240sx fastback "180sx" owner ... my question for all u that have this car already built up is, what am i going to end up dumping "money wise" in this car to set it up for drifting ??? basicly i wanna know how much have u had to spend to get u car where its at?

240sx and 180sx are 2 COMPLETELY different cars. One is fast, the other is slow. One ir RHD, the other is LHD. YOU DONT OWN A 180sx, otherwise it would say 180sx on your owners manual!

In fact, i doubt you even own one. Your probably just testing the waters.

Anyways. Drifting is not anything like drag. You cant just 'build' your car and all of a sudden become a good drifter. Practice with what you have (or say you have). If anything, put on some lowering springs and an LSD. Youll probably crash it anyways, so dont waste your money on expensive parts.

BTW, talking about drifting wont make you a good drifter.

thats why i have 1 in the newspaper forsale check it out its in the SACramento Bee for 3gs obo 916 397 2799 and i have it here on SRO forsale plus 240sx.org ..... so before you speak on my behalf know your facts and thats what im tryin to find out wid this thread the facts of building a 240sx platform, is it worth it .... but i do feel what u said bout u cant jus all of a sudden become drifterX's because u built a nice drift car it takes skillz and lot crashing to learn ... .

Debating to head out to the RS-R event.

HIN is at the 5th. Our IS300 TT will be there and I have to be in LA the next day.

tell u the truth.. you should jsut go to the rs-r... forget HIN......do they let ride alongs ??? i still have 2 weeks or so to make my decision.. i need tires mang.....

EDIT: HIN=whack.... i had to pay for the bullshit.... 60 somethign bucks and 2 hours drive was not worth like i thought it would be..... oh well....
