We're going to pick one up on Sat. Its got a 430, still runnin', need to fix the truck...and a little of the fender, everything else is PERFECT and it was only 1800 so Im happy. Here are some PS pics of it, 320hp @ 4600 RPM, 465ft/lbs @ 2500 RPM I think:

Btw, a 462 will bolt right in. They're both angle deck Lincoln motors.

I think him saying "Here are some PS pics of it" means "Here are some photoshopped pics of it".
Maybe like...here, this is what it will look like with straight body panels, paint, wheels(instead of cinderblocks) and a new ragtop.

Yes it does. The ones before looked horrid, and those are even worse.

I like em. That car is big enough to have 18s or 20s without looking bad.

Yea, thats what I thought...the car is 100% original w/ only 78k original miles...and I was thinking about selling my yukon to my dad and keepin the Lincoln, getting some rims...and a nice system...hide the CD player under the seat maybe? Where would be a good place to put a couple 12s?
Just make sure the width of the wheels coincides with the diameter. It WILL look gay with 20x7 wheels. You need some wider rubber to fill it out nicely.

With all that trunk room you could fit a couple of 12s and still have room for a couple of bodies :haha:

i'm more of a wide white walls kinda guy, but I guess that's the "trend" these days- old school with 34" rims and 10 series rubber.

I could go many ways with an old car, it depends on personal prefrence really. You're 51 looks bad-ass, but I think i would look good with a retro mod (18s, bagged, ect) look too. To each there own really.

Longroof, thanks for the compliment. Airbags are on the way. I have been looking at the billet specialty wheels but then again, I might want to keep it traditional (with the exception of the bags) The car should be running by Sept. if all goes good. I'll post more pics as it progresses.
