I dont want to keep talking about this stupid race. For one it was raining. From what I remember i launched at icdle so my tires wouldnt spin. you jumped off the line on me by at least a car and a half. half way through 3rd i was next to you and that is when i saw the cars coming at me from the end. You hit your brakes and i put on my hazzards. You stoppeed before the 1/4 mile was up. As far as im concerned that shit didnt count anyway cuz it was fukin raining and you said you had people in your car.Ive raced a lot of times and ive never put my hazzardds on if i lost. Im not a bad sport. why didnt you come out monday? lets just race and if i lose i lose man.if i win i win and that will be the end of it.

u know if there is any type of hazard like let's say a car is coming towards u and you brake then the other guy passes, it should be considered disqulified or something. just my 2 cents.

You guys truly need to meet some true DSM'ers who just don't make their cars *nice* to look at, but really race them. I only wished I lived in Cali to humiliate people at the street races. I just got a new car (see profile) and it's about the fastest car I have ever owned on the highway. Tires will roast at about 75 in 3rd gear. This isn't a spin or squeek either, its a full out RPM increasing 75-near burnout. I have some shitty tires on it right now, but I hope to hit mid 12's at about 120 or so. If it was an AWD it would be high 11's. FWD's are more fun anyways :P

What kind of tires are you planning to run at the track? Because if you think you will hit 120mph you should be in the 11's easy. I ran 13.4 @106mph on street tires. With slicks I should hit high 12's.

It is quite possible to hit 12's and be in the low 120's. A fellow DSM'er has hit 116 with a 12.8 ET. Keep in mind this was with a small, unclipped 16g and a STOCK SIDE MOUNT! You can find him under the handle NOSLaser at dsmtalk.com/forums. I figure by the end of the summer I should be nearing 120. It's all about car setup, tuning, and a nice cold day. If I ran NOS I would be SURE I could get low 120's. I want to be able to do it w/o the NOS. What do u run? Do u have a webpage? Thanks

just a opinion why would a fwd car ever agree to race a awd car in the rain?:) doesn't make to much sense to me i know my car in the rain is hard enough to drive normally let alone try to launch it on wet asphalt. Anyway you should run it in the dry cause if a awd busted 1 1/2 cars on you in the wet he'll most likely pull 2-3 in the dry from launch, thats the only thing i like about the awd.
