when ever i mash on it it picks up but then at about 3500 rpms the car just bogges like no power at all. i can go 110mph if i dont mash on it. i put new dist., rotor., fuel filter, bigger inj., bigger rail, and it still does it. what else could be wrong? there is a engine code but the car was working fine when the code was there. the code was fuel sys. error. let me no what you think! anything would help!

the car is a 91 intg b20b. i did put a aem cold air in and it might of started around the same time?

best thing to do is to stick it on a dyno that has a af meter. You could be getting too much fuel at 3500 on up. YOu said you put on larger injectors and fuel rail, why did you do this? Did you up the hp on the b20, or is it stock??

the b20 has stock internals. all bolt ons(4-1dc, aem cold, fuel reg.,full exs. system)

so i should turn the fuel reg down? 45psi is to high?
the inj. and rail are from a b16a1 or something like that the rail looked bigger as will as the inj. or i think the inj or bigger.

Do you get any black smoke when you mash on it? It sounds like too much gas to me, but you really need a wideband O2 sensor to check your af.

No black smoke that i have noticed! ill go buy an af ratio gauge and go from there!

well the only prob with most aftermarket af meters are they are not all too accurate. In your case, you may see your car going rich above 3500 rpms. Can you switch back to the stock injectors?

LMAO

Same problem I had. Samne problem my friend had with his 92/93 (somewhere around there) Integra LS.

Have you checked the spark plug wires? I bet if you did a compression check you'd find one of them just isn't firing. Just pray one of your spark plug wires gave out. If not then it might be the spark plug itself. If not that then I'd check the coil. If not that...then you're SOL.

PS the guy with the INtegra thought it was a stupid idea after replacing a good $180 worth of parts....but low and behold he swapped some used wires from one of the local shops Integras and the problem was gone. :haha:

did you try it with the old fuel rail and injectors? i had to got back to stock for my old turbo system for it to run better. it doesn't always solve the problem cuz my brother's turbo got fuel problems or something.
