Now by most standards I would be classified a newbie to the street racing scene looking at how last friday (2/23) was only my second time going to the races. Now my friend is the person who has gotten me into this whole thing. So he took me to the chevron station at sometime around midnight on Friday before going to Auto Mall. Now at this chevron station, I saw some of the coolest looking and sounding rides I have ever seen in my pithingly small time in the racing scene , not to mention that the people were really cool to talk with and fun to hang with too. And my friend brought to my attention that they were all part of a crew called SVP. SO anyways, we go to auto mall and A whole bunch of peeps show up that night. But by far the highlight of the night ,for me at least, was seeing the SVP type R take the GSX in the end of the race. (then proceeding to hit the curb but never mind that:)) I was, for lack of better words, awestruck!! So Ill leave you with this...SVP, you are the dopest crew ive seen and met within my small two weeks of being in the racing scene. I give you guys maad props and wish you luck in your future. And If I had a car that could hold its own, I would give anything to be in your guys crew.(considering all I have is a bone stock 96 Accord ex 4 door with the one single mod of Fusevsl's on my rear wheels:)) But anyways, I just thought Id give you props and I hope to see yall in the future.

Seen running around on welds with ET streets on the back ALWAYS and ponies on the front.

My new combo is a 12 to one 331 with stage 3 TFS heads it is a carbed car with a big shot plate on it jetted at 250. and YES I have everything Iam not some pipe dreamer. I have to assemble it now and what not.

It ran 1.8 60 foots with the OLD lowered 2 inch suspension and a tired 5.0 with heads an a .498 cam. 12 second ets. I drove it to sac aired down the tires ran 3 times and drove home with the air on and bumpin tunes.

I will see 11s this time out or I will take it in the ass publicly.

This was my street car and is now seeing the way of drag car that is still streetable (depending on definition). There is no longer any tunes or accessories.

It may dip into the 10s. I will have to see how well my combo works and if I proved my skills in picking the combo or not.

WOW! That does look alot like Sacramento Raceway but it must be that I just took a photo of someone else's car doing a burnout, then I use Photoshop to airbrush what looks like Sac Raceway behind it and then I claimed it as my own. But then again I'm supposedly out of state so this must be a DUPLICATE Sac Raceway in an alternate universe. I travel back and forth like they did in Matrix and I live for making challenges that I can't backup..... I retract what I said about calling your car a "stripped POS" cause I know that I would be pissed if someone called my car that after I had poured sweat,blood, and tears into it like you probably have with your car as I have with mine. As far as people getting "butt hurt" over people giving you props ummmm Nope. Not me. I think you guys deserve props and have said in other posts that for a 4 cylinder car that 12.7's is QUITE fast and deserves recognition. The fact that you even beat stock LS1's and LT1's and other V8's when you race them is a tribute to how far you have come with that car stripped or not. So kudo's to you and your vehicle.

Now here is where I got involved. When someone mentioned that you guys "smoke v8's and domestics that think they are the shit" I merely mentioned that I had not heard of you taking down any "reputable" modded V8's. Not to say you couldn't but that you haven't AFAIK. I'm talking about people like Cudaman, myself, 1FastNova, and a couple of other heavy hitters that frequent this board that are down to race. Believe me if we were to race and you beat me, I GUARANTEE it would get you alot more notoriety than just beating Joe Blow in his brand new LS1 he just bought and runs on street tires. But I don't think that's gonna happen. And you mentioned that 300 hp is 2 psi away but I thought the ITR was all motor????? Now it's a turbo???? It really doesn't matter to me cause I'm about 30-40 hp away from running in the 10's and seeing as how I have DFI and have done ZERO tuning with it I probably already have the power I need to run 10's now it just needs to be "tuned" into the motor. Either way I'm down to run in June against any car you got. May the best man win, but just come prepared because I know I will.... And as far as $$$ goes it doesn't matter to me. I race for fun and bragging rights just like you do.

And a BIG SHOUTOUT to powerline coming on this thread and representing. Gotta hand it to Powerline because when we used to go to the runs and all these wack-ass sacramento crews were coming down to Fairfield and trying to represent only to get POUNDED on by either Powerline Honda's or the one single domestic Powerline car (me).... As far as it not being a street car SHIET if it runs 11.4 on the motor I don't care if it's a street car or a race car that's some serious power even though that car is a flyweight. My new motor that's going in after I move to Virginia is gonna be able to run those times naturally aspirated (but then again it's a 500 horse solid roller valvetrain stroker motor with 12:1 compression) and I plan on busting it with a 250 shot at least!!!!

I have a new ride now, and have for a couple of months that is just a "little" bit faster than the old one. Ask DNR he has seen what i have and i think he has even seen it run,

I have talked to DNR at mcarthy chevron and he seems like a way cool down to earth guy, so instead of posting up anymore on here where everything gets blown out of proportion, i emailed him saying whats up.... and if you guys wanted to roll out and set something up on privates thats cool, if not thats cool too. I wont race on weekends out in milpitas/fremont. too much heat. but i am always down to run. In fact i will be out this weekend handing out fliers for the upcoming car show, not sure if ill be in my car or my friends, but look for either my car or my friends yellow mustang 5.0.
