THis is for all you with integras out there with modified suspension. I am looking to get a suspension set for my 96 GS-R. I have a lot of power ;-). I am looking for a good setup for corners, but I'd like it to work well for quarter times as well. So what do you have for suspension and what are the pros and cons of it? I would appreciate any info you can give. Thanks.

well since you have speed.... im thinking you have money... why not go with the best in the business... TEINS... cant go worng with TEINS>.you can go to their website and check what application best suites you... from rough on teh streets but graet on trak... adn so on and so forthh....

TEINS are great.

i've had eibach prokit + Tockico Illuminas and i've ended up with H&R Sport springs with Koni Yellows.

if you want ultimate handling, then TEINS are the way to go. The H&Rs ride soo much nicer than the eibach and handle wonders too - but are far too soft for competition.

if you dont want to shell out for TEINS, maybe H&R Race springs w/ Koni yellow?

oh yeah, dont forget to beef up the chassis. our honda chassis sucks under stress (plus, a side effect of adding radius arms is that your ride quality actually gets BETTER after you install it)

For FFs, if you want a 1/4 set up, make the front as stiff as possible (beware of massive understeer). For auto-x, the rear should be stiffer than the front. Be sure to check spring rates and the various anti-sway bar companies.

From what i understand of my civic, you want a to stiffen the rear to keep the weight from transfering off the front tires.

if you wanna stiffen the chassis, you can get the average stuff anywhere:
Front strut tower bar
Front lower Tie bar
Front sway bar
Radius Arms/traction bars
Center Brace
Strong bar
Rear strut tower bar
Rear lower tie bar
rear sway bar
cross bar

or skip half of those and go for a roll cage:)

you'll notice this stuff will be twice as important as you get a stiffer suspension and better tires. All the new grip causes the chassis to twist under hard cornering

stiffen the back.... SPOON is the way to go....... fairly inexpensive... its about the same as DC sports..... so if that was me.. ill go SPOON
