ok on my 89 teggy i have a 93 teggy engine.......
right now my setup is:
removed cat and put a cherry bomb in its place
ran straight pipe all the way back to a resonating tip
what i'm asking is I'm looking to change the exaust so it is
1: a little quieter
2: good performance
3: resonably priced

exHaust isn't going to boost your "performance" all that much more, and isn't your end all solution. the potentail of your "teggy" isn't that great. if you redo the setup your running right nowyou might gain a few hp (maybe). its not worth it. with that said get a shop to custom redo your system with 2.25" mandrel bends through your cat and then flow master delta flows.
If you want it quieter put your damn cat back on, and stop polluting with your POS! leave all the good polluting to the actual performance cars.:D

performance isn't a big thing....and my cat was jacked up
just want something that sounds nice but not too loud, and will work well if i put a turbo in
and what I meant about the performance is that i didn't want it to degrade the performance at all

How about we take off the glass pack and get a moderatlely quite cat back or even a turbo muffler that you can pick up at o'reilys or autozone ect. glass packs obviously arent the muffler of choice if your going for something alittle bit more mellow.
Dynomax UltraFlo. It's a straight-through muffler, and is about $100.

it looks stock. cept its straight through, and stainless steel. It will do good with your 2.5" piping already. It will make your car louder, but not really really annoying loud. Just louder then stock. To add a nice touch to it, just weld on a Tip too.

no. it will not be louder then what it is now. It will be like stock, but a little louder then stock. but way more quiet then what you have now.

You can get a universal high-flow cat from Summit for about $60. Then a good straight-through muffler for under $100.
