Tonight while getting gas an SI pulls up one pump over. Si was kinda fixed up: Rims, pipe huge 747 wing.. Not sure what was under the hood..
Well he does the look over and asks if those things are fast cause he heard they were overwieghted galants.. Humm Cant come back with that one cause he had a good point.. Thanks Mitsu..... So I just luagh back and ask him if he needs to get clearence from the tower to take off everyday with that wing... Funny enough he said yea.. So we talk a bit showingo off our toys.. Hey we both have G-techs... skip the middle crap...
There we were lind up on a long road into the indust park.. Easy 0-60s on this one.. His friend jumps out and we level the G-techs... Both of us could only get a 1 or -1 so we set it to 1..... GO GO GO GO GO blinking away now...
Ready.. The friend stands out front with a flash light(feels like the 50s)
Off goes the light along with both cars...
Of all the nights to get the jump right... YESS..
Just a little chirp and the treads hook up with the road..
The SI didnt get such a good start but is still right there.
2nd chirps as well and he pulled up along side me.. Ahh crap.. I am gonna lose.... AHH magic 3rd.. That was it for him... I pulled out and didnt stop.. time for 4th and he is 2 cars behind.. Hummm That looks like... SHIT... cop..... brakes.. Down shit.. and shift.... trun and bolt... He did the same thing... but not as fast... I get to a light and he comes up behind.. Turns out the cop was not it the car.. GRRRRRR ahhha the g-tech is still running thinking this is the longest 1/4 ever.. "-)
So I won hands down but he says we were neck and neck.. I pull my G-tech down and go to his car....

One happy Eclipse owner here.... Got ****y on the way home and reved up next to what I thought was a Camaro RS.. Right when he hit it I knew it was a Z28.. DO DO DO DOOO not racing here... I Had an 89 Z28 and new it was faster. He had a 99.... Nothing to see here.. :-) WHere is that turbo??
