sould I get: the Ninja 500 or the 250. Those are the only two i can afford right now. Any comments on these two bikes?

that would be my choice.....hehehe. really i would get the 500, i have had a couple, even road raced one. they are a blast,great begginner bikes. also the racers do some crazy stuff to them, big bore pistons and carbs and cams. what is your price range? you can find them pretty cheap. later models come with 17 inch wheels.i usually do all my shopping in the recycler.

One of my buddies has one of those RS50s. 6hp of pure fury. He's in 3rd gear before he crosses intersections. lol

I'd say the Ninja 250 is a bit quicker than that.

An RS50 is a 2-stroke 50cc motor no? The same as you get in a little scooter :D

I guess that means you dont need a motorcycle license to ride one of them? Cool, the ultimate beginner bike, dont even need the motorcycle endorsement!
