My and my friend were out driving around celebrating after a basktball game. I was driving because he was drunk as hell.
I pull out of a gas station and this funny looking Trans Am pulls out of the donut shop across the street. This T/A was lowered about 2 inches, had a 10 inch wing on the back, and had a 4 inch cowl induction hood. This car had the worst paint job ever the car was like 10 different colors.
He kept revving on me so I slowed down and waved him up to me when we got on backroad.
We both line up and I asked him if he wanted to race for money. We decided not to race for money.
We are on the line and this guy is revving the shit out of his car. I said he could take the hit so he punches it and got out about half car lead and I launched. I spun a little. I start to gain on him. I was about even with him then he shifted and blew away. We raced for almost a half mile. He won by about 6 cars.
I was pissed!!! This other car was a piece of shit. At least it looked that way. It taught me to never again to judge a car without knowing what it has under the hood.
