WTF is chrysler thinking???

Celine Dion selling the new chrysler Crossfire, i know she can't sing. what makes them think that she can sell a car!

It's just advertising and it hardly works anyway.

It's not like you watch a commercial for a car and then go "holy shit, I'm going to get one!"

Good advertising works, but that's something that's lacking in today's media.

Dodge should make a commercial with the SRT-4 lined up against a Celica GTS and RSX-S, and drag race them all, having the Neon easily smoke the other two. Then just say "Yep. Stock." at the end.

Now that's marketing. :)

might even be better if they threw in a mustang GT as well, just for "wow" factor! that thing is nuts.

Dude I saw that commercial too, I was like WTF!! I can't stand her. To see her in a car commercial is disgusting. Shit, w/ her money she wouldn't be caught dead driving a Chrysler in real life. DIE!!!!!!!!! :mad:

is the commerial even for the crossfire?.......i've only seen it a couple times and always turn before they get to the end and say what it is......looks to me like she's riding in the back seat or something....the crossfire doesn't have a back seat does it?.......having her as a spokesperson isn't really that bad of an idea...their target demographic probably listens to her alot more than 18-24yr old males do.........

Who cares about the commercial? She was at the charity event for the international auto show here, and I assure you that went over very, very well for Chrysler.

You'd be surprised at how well she works for advertising. And she has ten thousand times more singing ability than any other modern pop/hip-hop "diva" I can think of. Granted, that's not saying a lot...
