i've now a suzuki swift gt with 120hp.
Max speed: 220km/h
I wondering.... what's the max of this car with everything tuned...
If I spend a lot of money.... can I smoke a supra :) ?
because i love this little thing.... 0-100km/h in 8 sec.
and I blow every honda (stock versions :) )...

If you cryo treat your engine, then custom make pistons, flywheel, cams and other misc engine parts. Spend months in porting and balancing the engine, then set the car to extremely high compression running race gas. You'll have a 900HP 2Litre engine that will last 2 hours of driving if you're lucky.
Hey, you asked for tuning advice didn't you.. :p

if your serious about making it as fast as a supra id say invest in some nitrous, custom turbo install and strip the car to make it as light as possible and if theres any companies that do close ratio or straight cut race boxes get one.
or with all that money your about o spend on making the swift as fast as a supra you could just go and buy a used supra.....

a Suzuki Swift GT is NOT a GEO. the metros, (sprints/fireflys in Canada) are made by Suzuki for GM with a smaller engine and better fuel economy, they are modeled after the SS. the SS-GTs are used very heavily in South America, Austrailia, and in Canada rally seires. the GTs are a good sleeper and do kick Civics asses. with the right mods.

if it takes you a month to balance an engine then you have somthing wrong!
there is a good selection of aftermarket parts for the SSGT, you just have to find them. if you don't look for them then you won't see them then you might think that they have none.

I'm only saying;
I really don't think any aftermarket motor parts out there can withstand 900HP@15,000rpm; otherwise the people at Team Ferrari, or Team Mugen Jordan Honda wouldn't spend so much trouble making 900HP engine to put on a F1.

will it ever beat a supra? maybe a supra/celica..not a gen 4. maybe an NA gen 4 but not a turbo model.
there should be alot of go fast parts for it out there if you look. www.google.com is your friend and ours ;).
the metro is built on the same frame, and built by Suzuki, and it weighs 1951 Lb dry with the DOHC engine
the stock compression ratio is 10:1 not 10.3:1
look here (www.ssgti.com) or here for parts (http://members.shaw.ca/bigbearzuke/ts/index.htm)

thanx for the advice guys... I can buy a supra but it's realy funny how a small car can beat some sportcars :)
All my friends have a civic so I would like something different. I gonne buy some parts on that cryo site...
To bad (almost) nobody tune up this car so heavy .
Did you know that Suzuki Swift also is called Chevrolet Swift ?

:haha: looks like matt (firefly1_0) has some competition on best looking/fastest swift/firefly/metro. cmon matt.... you know you want to turbo the 3 banger:D
as for the weight of the swift... i thought itd be less than 1951lbs dry. hell my fiesta is 2200lbs with all fluids, full tank and your average weight driver. so dry weight would be allmost that of a swift:eek:
my fiestas also bigger than a swift, not sure how much but its noticeably bigger, bout the size of a civic.
