Has anyone here ever heard of Jhonen Vasquez? If you havent he does the animation for Invador Zim (everyone knows that show right?) and many others like Johnney the Homicidal Maniac, Squee and Lenor. ANYWAY, I just thought that i would post to see if anybody else had the same obsession as I in his work.

and he DID NOT do lenore. yes, there's a little one page segment in one of the johnny books, but that's just because Jhonen is friends with Roman Dirge (the maker of lenore).

yes, i'm a jhonen nerd. i pretty much sport the full collection of jhonen's stuff. all the paperbacks, hardcover collections, a couple of shirts, posters, the filler bunny and spooky toys, almost the entirety of invader zim, and so on.

oh...and there are many people on here that know who he is. ;)

His animation is soo original, I remember when his shit first came out....i was blown, and I have never seen so much gore. it was great

Yeah, Scott got me interested in Jhonen's shit a long time ago. I've read quite a bit of his stuff, but am no where near his nerdiness level.

Its very good stuff though. I Feel Sick was especially good in my opinion. If you are looking for some of his stuff, just check out your local comic book shops.

I have all of Invader Zim. That is probably one of my favorite shows. Too bad it doesn't air here any more. I have read some of Johnney the Homicidal Maniac. Not as much as some others in this thread. I heard somewhere that they turned Johnney into a TV show that aired on cable, is that true? If it is, I would love to see that.
