Hey Turbo ppl.
I want to put the greddy kit in my 98 RS integra.. but I face a few challenges.. maybe you guys can help out.
So greddy only makes a gsr kit right now.. and what i'll have to modify is the down pipe and the intake piping. Here are my questions:
1. Will the injectors that come with kit, 310cc ones for gsr fit in my b18b?
2. Does the b18b share the same bolt pattern for the exhaust manifold with the gsr (b18c?) I'm pretty sure.. but i wanted to make sure
3. The downpipe will need to be modified right? since the gsr cat is longer than the b18b?
4. the gsr kit is only for obd2 version, i have an obd2 rs.. will the greddy "black box" piggy back fuel controler work with my system?
Anyone know what the black box does? How diff would it need to be for my ls? I have lower compression and a lower rev limit.. do you think this black box will still do the trick?
IF ANYONE HAS DONE THIS SWAP PLEASE LET ME KNOW HOW!
Also, I know that the b16 is closer to my b18b then the gsr. .. with a Civi SI greddy kit (not released yet) my intake piping will match up better since both tb sit in same place.. but anyone know if greddy is going to change the black box's vitals? since the civic has less cc's.. higher revs and more compression?
Any help is greatly appreciated!
