Here are some pictures of my chevelle. Tell me what you guys think. It is cortez silver mettalic with black ss stripes. It has a 454 GM Crate in it that is pretty much stock. TH 400 tranny, 10 bolt w/ posi and 4:11 gears. I have waiting to go in, aluminum radiator, chrome water pump, chrome timing cover, and all stainless steel hoses.

That car is killer is it an original 454. Just a question, If you have that thing why the hell do you claim an import. personally I would rather claim my fastest car, But that's just me

i used to have the import as a daily driver, and used this board for import resources. It is not an original 454, it was red w/ a 307 with a bench seat. Thanks for the compliments

It may have been a POS, but it was a POS that would smoke anything you owned. :haha:

WHERE ARE THE HEADERS!?!?!?
that baby is crying out for some equal length piping.
:D

Thats exactly how i feel. Headers, 3 inch piping, cutouts and 3 chamber flows are most likely on the way.

NICE :smokin: My neighbor use to have a '70 Chevelle SS.God I miss that car. It was Black with two white stripes down the middle, and the 454.Man that thing had some power.

Wouldn't you gear out rather early in a 3spd with 4.11 gears?

It gears ou very quick, 3,000 rpm at 70 mph. So it is driveable on the freeway for short trips, longer trips get kind of annoying. Hopefully i will be at the next sro meet and cruise.

I have not dyoned it yet. And yes it desperately needs headers.

Kick ass! I get 10 mpg with less hp, crappy stock gears that are probly worse than 2.73, and a smallass carb, a 600 cfm that shouldn't be on there. I can't imagine a 454 BB with 4.11's LOL.
