what engine should i get

i have a 91 honda civic hatch back,its a dx and is slow as hell . im sick of being slow and i want to get a bigger and better engine.what engine should i get that will give me the most speed and how much would it cost.eny help would be great ,thanx alot

well, if money is no object...get the prelude engine..that's the strongest engine, u can conceivably fit in there, but it'll require custom mounting, and wiring..and some $$$...if u want a stock lookin swap w/ respectable power..go w/ the b16 or ZC..or if u want decent power go w/ the mini me setup, which is jus slappin on a D16z6 head and valvetrain, from a 92-95 si/ex..if only u had the si, not the dx tho.....which is the most cost effective...and u get vtec! lots more combinations u can do...i.e. LS/VTEC...B20/VTEC head...the possibilities r endless

dont get H22, its too heavy and u'll have hard time in corners, get the B18CR if u can find one, its the perfect match
