You should do everything yourself...you learn more about your car and save a helluva lot of money!! my friend just put a AEM cai on his Si and it only took like 30minutes.

Doesn't it come with directions? If so, just follow the directions. If it doesn't, surf the web for directions from someone who has already done it and posted it up or ask someone for directions and how to do it.

Re: the 92 Integra, the air filter is a sinch to install and you don't really need any directions. When it comes to the suspension though, you might want to see what MIDAS or some other shop will charge you. Springs and shocks are very dynamic pieces to put together. No doubt, it can be done by yourself and you certianly do learn a lot about the car as stated earlier. You can RENT for free or a small charge (large deposit) the necessary tools from Auto Zone or Kragen (I live in SOCAL). The biggest problem with our "older" cars (I have a 94'Si) is frozen bolts. Have you replaced your O-2 sensor yet? !@#$%!@##$ Phewww. You might want to purchase some new bolts before you start, and work out your back and arm muscles. If someone is willing to do the work for $100 or so...think about it! Also, get one of the Auto Repair books for your car. Great info and they don't miss a thing.

you can change the spring by yourself and with some friends
It is not that it is hard, but just can become time consuming, espicially if you dont have the righy tools. My friend didn't have a spring compressor so he used rope as a type of compressor, i have heard of people using big C clamps as compressors as well. So if you are going to do it yourself, good luck.

Man the AEM intake was soo easy, it was the first time I put a part on my car and I did it within an hour. You can't mess up when u install the AEM and the best part is the horsepower u gain!! that was the best mod I have put on, even better than my GReddy exhaust system!

my friend put the aem on his 92 gs, he said it was kind of a pain in the ass because the tubing has to be connected in the middle and just a pain to get the rubber pieces all together, but every thing else is pretty strait foward, i have the cai on my car, it was hella easy to put on because my is all one piece, the resignator is the only thing thatwas kind of a pain, and dont pay someone $100 to install springs, just do it yourself it is easy, if you dont know what you are doing, just go buy a manual on your car
