Hey Sin 6, do you know if injecting the fluid BEFORE the compressor will damage the impeller?

huh? can u give a little more detail, i dont really understand ur question.
u mean a water spray to radiator/intercooler or actually a water injection into the combustion chamber?

It is a good device, it cool down ur engine block, WRC cars have it installed, and the newer EVO(6, 6.5, TME and 7) have it stock i believe. and it wont damage ur engine

hell, i kept mixing up things these days, not only msg in this board, also from my work.. must be my gf..*sigh*

the waterspray that is stock in an Evo, is a intercooler/radaitor spray.
now, the injecting into the combustion chamber, which is a good device, the water will evapourate inside the "hot" engine and turn back into "air' state (simple physics), which contains oxygen. and with a effect that it cool down ur engine. for what benifits? i think u can guess it out easily

peace

I don't know what set up you have but make sure you spray into the engine after the intercooler. If you have any questions please E-mail me.

I have been running a water injection system for a while now and love it. Like I said E-mail me, I have done a ton of reading on this
