Well the truck is for sale if anyone wants it, it just needs to much work for me to do since I cant keep it on my property unless its inspected. My friends dad is selling me a 86 astro with a 4.3, rear wheel drive, and its a panel van, no rear windows. Im already getting flowmasters for it from my friend, and I'm putting my spare set of Cragers on it. Anything cheap I can do to it to make it a bit more fun other than a shift kit? Its just going to be to run for parts, but Im going to paint it shit green with white SS stripes.

Lower it, add the rims, the paint and yo should have a pretty good looking Astro. Its not impossible to fit a small block in there either.

there is a 350 swap kit for it, but to do well it would cost about 2 grand. Makes one hell of a sleeper though. Maybe you might wanna change the rear end gear with the stock 4.3 to give it a bit quicker acceleration. That, and mount a fold-down bed into one of the sides.
