mivec.... turbo or n/a upgrade?

Any suggestions how to upgrade a mivec engine? Is it a turbo or a N/A upgrade?

Mivec is Mitsubishi's variable valve timing and lift control.
Similar to Honda's VTEC.
There are different kinds of engines that use this little piece of technology and each would be upgraded differently according to what you want the engine for.

well if mivec is anything like vtec i'd think to go NA because with boost i don't think the vtec high end will make too much difference correct me if im wrong
