i tryed searching this topic and i couldnt really find anything but anyways, my bro is going to purchase a wrx this upcoming spring or summer, he called me and asked me to ask on here when the sti wrx is coming to america, like what year and stuff, will it even come out in america? well thanks for the help.

according to clubwrx.net someone talked to a subaru rep at an auto show that said it should be here in six months. but thats just speculation.

on the bbc top gear did a comparison of the evo and the sti and the sti won in almost all comparisons (the hosts opinion). the host said it was more fun to drive the sti and handled better.

according to speculation..price should be 30-35k on first arrival. but so was the WRX when it first got here. a few people payed close to that when it arrived in the states.

well if we are talking about a jdm evo VII then i would love to have one. but if we are talking about the new proposed usdm evo VIII i dont want one at all. ive owned a new generation (non dsm) mitsu and they are crap. i wouldnt trade my wrx or pay any amount of money for one. IMO.

if subaru came out with the sti in the US (im aware its available in europe) it would have with a evo Vll

the evo that's "coming" to the states will be the VIII.

those evo's are hella nice looking and with the balls to back it up, but still i like the subaru better, but i like the evo's looks a bit more.

Well, if/when mitsu brings over their evo, obviously subaru will have to up the ante with the STi in order to keep their sales strong.
