ok, well this is a terrible thing that happened to me and my 94 integra LS. just last week my friend wanted to race, he drives a 2001 saturn sl2, so i said why not. ok well he burned me by 3/4 of a car length. I dont know what happened but it was crap. any ideas on how i can make an automatic integra FAST?!?! Thanks :(

stick a fart pipe and a intake on there hell most the import drivers i see run in the 12s with just thouse to things.. Im not talking full cat back just a muffler and a little air filter cone should do it =)

i agree with Riddler, stick on a muffler and an intake. both add about 50 HP

BTW, need a muffler? i'm selling a Tenzo-R rear-section. it can be modified to fit any car. midas will do it for $50. it's all stainless-steel, 2.25" mandrel-bent piping. good sound, good fit. in brand-new condition and still in the original box. $175 + shipping. . .

I dont know about getting 50 hp from just intake and exhuast. Not even to the fly wheel will you get that much, Not from an integra anyway, expect more like 10-15 hp to the flywheel, that is more of a realistic view. and running 12's? most imports with just intake and exhaust run like 15's, maybe 14's,, but i dont know about 12, also depends on what import you are talking about. but most 4 bangers, will run a little faster then stock, not 2-3 secs faster then stock. I agree with lilghost, if you want your car to have instant hp get nitrous, and jackson racing should have one for your car, they say expect up to 60 hp with that.

HAHA, we were just playing man. intake + exhaust = maybe 6 hp on a good day. mostly just a lot of noise and some high-end grunt. i'm still selling the Tenzo-R exhaust. it's good for 35hp, :D

not a very shocking result from that race. my last car(R.I.P.) was a 94 integra ls with an auto. my friends mom has a saturn sl2 auto, completly stock, and he used to beat me with it.

the challenge in the gsr swap is the tranny, he would have to get the clutch pedal assembly and swap out the shifter, I thought about doing the same thing when i had my ls, the best thing to do is wait till the car is almost paid off then trade it in, the price diff. between a used gsr and a used ls from the same year is not that dramatic. it would probably cost more to do the swap than to trade it in.

nah fuck that, get yourself a coffee can and sum ductape and tape it onto the tip. that'll add a good 75 hp. if your REALLY want some power make sure the coffee can is full of coffee grounds. that's good for another 25 hp.

He could have had an aftermarket torque converter that seems to allow automatics to hold their own with manuals. I've seen a 300zx pull a 10 sec pass that was an auto with an upgraded torque converter, plus a million other mods.
