I just got a 1999 honda civic lx 4 door. I was look on putting so mods on it. I don't know what to really do first so if you can help that would be cool. Thanks

Don't mod it, save your $$ 4 a better car, use this car as a daily driver. Puttin $$ into this car would be a waste.

the 15 hp difference. if it's an si, like a 40 hp difference.

theres nothing wrong with modifying a civic, not everyone has tons of $$ to buy an expensive car and mod it.

but ofcourse everyone here has a car thats more mod-worthy
then a civic

corkdog- you're not going to get the type of speed that will beat preludes and eclipses, but you can make your car slightly faster with basic bolt-ons.

ok, now that this is in newbie corner I can no longer flame, so I will give some advice. if you are looking for speed, your best bet is to look somewhere else. if you just want to look good, then do a body kit, some rims, maybe spruce up the stereo a tad.

2 Bottle of NOS baby! haha..If i were you i would leave the car alone and not fix it up..Definitely not worth the time or money to fix up a car like this..Especially if u bought a APC intake then cop stops you and you get ticketed for a illegal intake then what? wasted money...time..now your gonna waste more money and time..leave your car alone or maybe just put a nice little system in it..other then that..dont follow the crowd..Be OG and Mod Free! hehe :p

Get some nice 17s, lower it 1.5-2", maybe tint the windows, and be done with it. If you want more power, start saving for an engine swap. Doing boltons (intake, exhaust) isn't going to do anything for you expect drain your bank account.
