CD Changer Question

i have an old school pioneer cdx-m40 cd changer n wanna install it in my car. theres a orange wire that has a tag that says "To terminal with power regardless of ignition position" or something like. Where exactly do i plug this wire into? thanks for any help. late

that's the constant power wire........hook it to the battery or any other constant source, such as the yellow wire on an aftermarket HU....

di have to hook up the constant power wire for it to work? because the wire is like 5 inches long only n it wont reach the HU or tha battery...if i HAVE to connect it...what kinda wire should i use to extend it?

yeah, it has to be connected.......something like 16ga speaker wire would be good enough for it......
