I currently own a 91 crx DX and planning to do engine swap SOON, but im not quit sure how much it will cost me and if it's even worth doing the swap if it's equivalent to a better car than my CRX. The swaps I have in mind are...

-b16a2
or
-d16z6

Can somebody tell me how much those swap will cost me with Parts, labor and TAX. Which one should I really should go with and why... And if you know somebody or anybody that can do the swap for CHEAP, LEGIT and very GOOD work, please let me know... The swap will take place in about a month from now since money is tight... Any help would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks

its cheap and it doesnt throw off the weight transfer of your car like DOHC motors do if your intrested i know some one sellin a 93 SOHC vtec motor and all the rest to do a swap into a 89-91 civic or crx

I was actually thinking of doing a d16z6 swap first, and I got a price quote from a shop around Milpitas for $1300 for the complete change over, and I was told from a diff shop that since im putting $1300 on the SOHC motor that I should just go with a b16a2 motor because it will be better of on the long run...Please help me choose and tell me why. Also by doing a motor swap will I run into SMOG problems? Thanks
