New Car

Ok, Ok! I finally made my final decision what car I'm getting. A 2003 Honda civic EX 2dr. I am a newbie to the street racing scene and know close to nothing. So I'm wondering what are the first mods I should start puting on the car (I don't wan't to rebuild the engine - c'mon I work at a seafood market). Websites of the companies would be cool

why are you getting a new car? They are always a rip off. also, the 7th Gen civics are pretty slow and have no potential to be very fast. Get a cheap intake, put a quality filter on it and get nitrous and learn how to use it properly, that'll make you run mid 15's and you will be able to beat most hondas out there.

You won't get very far starting with that platform. I'm guessing it runs 17's stock. Your basic intake/exhaust/header might help a bit but even that won't drop you a second. This car was designed for fuel economy and low emissions output, not for performance.

Wow, the second I started reading this thread I thought of Joey from the movie Hackers... strange.. But anyhow, if you want a Civic, I would suggest probably an early 90s if you are going for the look. Of course, thats just my opinion, I cant stand the newer Civics.

Not really sure.. just started reading it and all I could think was "Dude dude dude dude.. you gotta help me!" Crazy shit I tell ya. Its amazing where my mind goes sometimes.. Just wish it would take ME with!
