Yeah, their cheapest one. It's a 50ft paint job though. If you looked at it closely, there were tiny airbubbles from my crappy bondo job filling in the holes where I removed the trim strip along the sides.

Oh, I forgot to include the inbetween pic. I had it partially primered for about a year, only got the paintjob because I was going to sell it.

Most of the time it looked like this (ran out of primer, so I left the back and the roof the original color):

Fender, hood, grille, radiator are all from the junkyard. Just bolted em on, and primered.

Sold it about 3 years ago, bought the red Jeep truck you can see in the side-shot picture. Parents would only let me have 1 car. Some old guy in Pleasant Hill owns it.
I just never got around to scanning the pictures until now.

nice job!! I like the primer!! I have a "thing" for primer, had two cars that were straight primer, no paint, don't know what it is, but especially black primer just looks good on some cars, not all tho, but on musclecars, looks "gritty" like "get outta my way" ....hehe that's cheezy, but you know what I'm sayin...

did you get any engine/frame damage from that wreck? Looks pretty bad...if not, your lucky!! I was in a lesser wreck in a Duster, hardly any damage to the front, but knocked the frame good, (basically "totalled" out the car because the frame work was worth more than the car, bummer :( )

Real nice job tho, looks great both ways :D

The radiator went into the fan and cracked the waterpump, but no engine damage besides that. Pretty much all the damage was cosmetic. After I hit the guy, I was able to start the car and drive it to the side of the road (even though the fan was chopping up the radiator core).
