Intake Manifolds

My friend and I are restoring his 1969 ford Escort MKI (Mexico) but... his dad sold the manifold abd carbs 20 years ago!! Obtainign new manifolds...welll.. not gonna happen. Cortina engiens with dual webbers are not very commen.....

So we have to make out own intake manifolds! HOW DO WE DO TI!!!! to see the car as of last week (updated pics soon)

Easy. Get an intake manifold custom made. Shop around, you should be able to get someone to make it for a reasonable price. I would recommend getting some fresh 48IDE's and have the manifold fabricated specifically for these carbies. No probs.
