95 LS/Vtec vs 5.0

I was on my way to stockton last night at 205. I was going 75 and this 5.0 went behind me and start high beaming me. Its a boxy stang, black with silver stripe. Dual exaust, anyways He went next to me and start yelling that lets race. I said I can't cuz I just have my engine rebuilt. After 5 minutes of buggin, I got annoyed and I finaly down shift to 3rd. We were side by side then I hit 4th, I took a 1/4 of a car lead until I gain a 1 car. After a few mile he flash his hazards and I was like what did he think he won. I slowed down so that we could go side by side again but, I heard this funny noise. I let him pass me and this black smoke was coming out from his duals.

HAHA...i love seeing people blow their cars up when racing. I once was teasing a Dodge Neon once by rolling on the gas and letting him catch up and then rolling on it again. Well, the 3rd time i let him get even. Next thing I know i head a bang! and see him slow down fast and see smoke pouring out under the car.

I remember yeeeeeaaars ago I was racing in my dad's 1978 Impala (350 cubic inch) against some monster truck on the way home from a movie. I had my girl with and this car was/is a boat! Now, I was playing with him passing him and letting his pass me only to nail it and pass him again. Finally, I let him get about one car length ahead of me (I don't know how fast I was going because the speedometer only went to 85 and I had it BURIED) and then nail it! I was going to take off and leave him this time, but just as soon as I get to his rear bumber I hear this loud BOOOOM and see black smoke pour out of his tailpipe! I lost vision for a second because soooooo much smoke came out. The truck sounded like hell when I passed him by.


The headlights disappeared so I turn around about a mile up the road to turn back and see if they are ok. To this day, I have no idea where the truck went. So, I just left the area and went home. To this date, it is the best kill I have ever had!:D

Hate to break it to you all, but black smoke means a cars running rich...Not that it blew up....WHITE smoke means it blew up...Trust me on this....I know....From bad experience....It was probably a stock automatic 5.0 too. :)
