ive looked for a kit for weeks. anyone have a korean friend that knows where to find one? im getting desperate as my rotors are extremly warped and pads are nearly gone. i would hate to pay a dealer for the same old shitty brakes.

Talk to Brembo, I'm sure they could hook you up.

how the hell did you wear them out that fast? I have 56k on my brakes, autocross it, and still have some life left, but I really should get to at least putting new pads on.

why a korean kid? Wouldnt you want to talk to a japanese kid that lives in/near tokyo?:haha:
anyways, I havent seen too many parts for the tiburan lately, is it because there arent too many ppl buying the car?
Good Luck!

i knew you guys would want to know what happened to them, they were just shitty brakes to begin with. i think the pad compound was bad. my uncle works for a g.m. delearship and he looked at it, he said every so often that happens. the pads are "flaking" off. im not that hard on my brakes. and because the pads flaked soo bad, it caused the rotor to warp. im willing to pay around 1k$ for a good kit...

well i was going to suggest http://www.wilwood.com but I don't see any apps for your car. You could always contact them and see if they have anything in the works.

dealership gave me some shit about i must have gotten chemicals on the pads from the carwash and "brakes are made to wear out" (car only has 9k miles on it).
i really dont care what happened to the old brakes, i want an upgrade anyway...
also, ive contacted ALL the major brake companies...
i talked to a chick from korea and she said they have kits over there. so they are out, just extremly hard to find.

Subaru is Japanese actually. :)
Most people think it is australian because you see Paul Hogan(Crocodile Dundee) drive them in the commercials.. and Brits/Aussies rally them.

GM doesn't own Subaru. They do have a network for them in Figi. But other than that, GM does not own a majority share of Subaru.

i went to a subaru dealership looking at the wrx's just before i got my tibby. the guy there asked if i qualified for a gm discount, i do and asked why. he said that gm "owns" subaru and that i qualify for the same disount on the subarus. so, i guess gm might not totally own subaru but they own enought to get me a discount. :smokin:

My parents had $5,000 in GM Visa money... and what did they buy? A stupid saturn.. :( But oh well, at least its practical and cheap. We just need a grocery getter/beater anyways :).
