I got my car back yesterday and I was test driving my car at Capitol EXP. in San Jose. I tried not to pass 4,500 RPM and no more than 80MPH because of the new motor with only 50 miles. Well I came into a stop light. Capitol and Tully when this silver prellude roled up and start reving. I rev back to 2,800rpm. Light turn green and he pulled right away by 1 car. I only rev up to 4,000RPM didn't want to mess up the motor. By the time we finish I was already in 5th gear and he beat me by 2 1/2 cars.. You think I could take him if I drove my car up too the 8,900 RPM limiter. He only beat me by 2 1/2 car thats shifting at 4,000rpm.

Hopefully. Plus i Never drag race before.. never been to the race track, been to the illegal but, I just watch. Hopefully my car is fast enough to break 14's. Last time i race someone in the freeway was a 1998 ls. I beat him by 3 cars at 580 going up the hills. That was before my conversion

u talking about an integra right? what u smokin? he is gonna stomp you...200horses VTEC vs. 142horses NON VTEC..sorry they didn't come with VTEC in 95..even if u did a swap you couldn't put out 200horses...so IMO you can't beat him if u went all out...sorry

Im smoking them Prelludes, They started making Vtecs in 1994.. THE GSR INTEGRA..also do you even know what a LS/VTEC or FRANKENSTEIN. Thats a LS block with a Vtec head.. Lets see. LS is made for lower end more torque and more cc. Vtecs are made for mid to hi end. Combine the torque speed and low, med and high end what do you get?

In america . the dohc vtec engine was intgroduced in shape of the b17a which found a home in the 92-93 integra gsr's. Also in 92 was the sohc vtec d16z motors. Vtec has been aive and kicking in japan since the late 80's i think. They have a d15z vtec-e in the ef chassis civics. Also the infamous b16. The b17a was only manufactured for the Usdm market....not the japanese market.

Also, if your ls vtec is done right, and you have what you say, low 13's should be a breeze. With the type r pistons and gsr head you will be around 11.2:1 compression. I had one if not the first ls vtec on the nor cali streets. My car kicked major ass but had serious problems with the tranny and traction. If you only hit 14s with your setup then either you can't drive or the motor is not built for shit. Also, who did your setup? Please don't say BRE...just curious
