Also, anyone selling a black triple 52mm gauge pod a-pillar replacement for a 2g? I had one ordered on carparts/jcwhitney for 29 bucks (autometer), then i waited dayz and didn't get isht. :mad:

For the guage pod it was on carparts.com. There was a coupon code and the list price was 29. Then with the coupon code it went to 29 shipped. It must have been a misprint because the one for 29 was a gray one, but the same one in different colors were like 49. :confused:

i asked this over at dsmtuners..... but never got a reply.. except "get a MBC".....

i just got my profec b in.... where is the easiest place to hook up power to the unit....i heard cig lighter... but what wire...??? theres four....

and just to mke sure i have the hoses right from the stepper motor.... one goes into the WG obviously and the other goes where the old hose from the WG went, which is to the intake mani... right???

oh.. and also... with my mods (greddy upper/lower i/c piping, injen intake, apex n1 downpipe (no cat), apex n1 exhaust, greddy type s bov)... i only get about 14-15 psi... in third it spikes to 14-15 then drops to 12... every other gear it pretty much stays at 14-15 psi....

this doesnt sound right with my mods.... leaky bov...??? ecu retarding the fuck out of my timing cause i'm running too lean...??

Vampire taps are not recommended. You will get a bad connection.

yeah still got it. havent really drove it for almost two months, one month in the impound, 3 weeks so far at the body shop. Some asshole did a hit and run and i had to get the door completely replace, no serious damage though, like frame or anything, just body work. Once its out, its sold.

possible that the bov is leaking, get a 1st gen bov or just get a upgraded one. 99 ecu sux because of the retard timing to prevent crankwalk from happening like the 95's and up, get a 95 ecu. And for the wire thing, if u dont know what the 12v power wire is on the cig. lighter than i suggest u take it to someone professional before messing it up.

It sounds like your exhaust manifold is cracked and when the car idles it sounds like lifters. maybe part of the exhaust mani studs broke off and it went inside the head. I've had these problems before. i can check it out for you if you want
