Tranny Question

if i were to put a two tooth smaller ring gear on my diff will it get more low end or high end?

i think more high end but if i'm wrong please let me know thanks!

yes it will give you a higher gear. the ring gear is divided intot he pinion 40 tooth ring and a 10 tooth pinion = 4:1 gears. But whats the tranny question? ;)

my dif is in my tranny. it's a gsr tranny.

with a trans axle like your GSR
the diff is inside the case. its is directly connected to the ring gear which mates with the counter to spin the gears. quife makes custom final drive apps to your spec, however a less expensive route is the 4.785 commonly found in the 98+ itr( jdm spec) all other b sereis vtec trannies( hydro) this includes ctr are all 4.40
