Rollin on the freeway last nite when a band of racers merged onto the freeway. Looks like they had just completed some runs cuz they were heading home...I watched a few take some exits.
There was only one more racer left after everyone else went home. It was a white Celica GTS. It looked a little tricked out. He comes up to me, lines up and jams ahead of me. Ok, lets play. I come up and do a flyby, braking a little ahead so we can play.
The Celica flanks me on the Left side. The guy looks over at me. We are at about 80mph. I point to the road ahead which was clear on the frosty night. He responds by pushing full throttle, and I jam on my pedal right after he does. He initially has a lead. To my surprise, Im not closing on him. We run to the top of 4th gear and only as I reach 125mph am I able to pull away from this guy.
He slows down, accepting the defeat as I slow down also. I look up at him, throw up a peace sign and continue on the way home.
