ok noone get all off i searched for this for like an hour and not one thing gave me a answer so here goes...aight the lights on the 95-99 model, i think it is the 97-99 has dark headlights and the circle backup lights and the 95-96 has the regular headlights and the kinda square backup lights on either side of the license plate
is this correct??

but yeah Jettin123 you're right, 95-96 has those back-up lights near the license plate, and 97-99 has the butt dimples

I've never driven an Eclipse before but I've heard it's really hard to see what's behind you (well, harder than other cars) because of the rounded back and the placement of the reverse lights. Any truth to this?

The shape of the rear does result in a relatively narrower rear view compared to other cars (e.g. if someone tailgaits u closely enough, you won't be able to see his headlights). I don't think placement of the reverse lights is a problem though.
