Bad Night for my GST

i was driving home saturday night and this pesky camaro z28 rolls up next to me at a light and he looks at me and says got rice? and i was like what the fuck so i gave him a quick rev and it was on. the light turned green and he jumped me off the line adn i was right about at the back of his door, and then i caught total traction and i hit second gear and i was pulling hard and right as i was passing him i hit third gear and boom my differential sent pieces of metal through the bell housing of my tranny and it was like i had no clutch so i hit the brakes and pulled over and there was fluid just draining outta my tranny i was able to put it into 1 gear and barely move it into a parking lot and boom my tranny totaly seized up. luckily the dude in the camaro pulled over with me and he helped my get the car jacked up and i could see a nice small hole in my tranny and the fuild just kept on comming. but the dude in the camaro was pretty cool he called one of his friends that owns a tow truck and had him tow me home at no charge, that was hella koo. oh yea he was like if ur tranny didnt break you would have wooped my ass, and i said I KNOW hehe.

that's hella cool that the guy in the camaro did that. Gives the domestic guys and racers alike a good name. That's some weak shit about your tranny though. More money down the drain.

What diff do you have in your car? And what mods??

my mods are, forced performance big 16g, lots of porting, greddy tvvc manual boost controller, road race upper and lower intercooler piping, hks ss bov,apex n1 exhuast,hrc 3inch downpipe,injen intake with k&n airfilter, apex super afc,quife lsd,act 2600lbs clutch,magnacore wires. the turbo upgrade and downpipe were installed over xmas break and the clutch was installed this morning. i ran the 13.5@104 on the stock t-25 and street tires, and stock clutch and stock downpipe with 18lbs of boost. costin me 1800 to fix my car new tranny,and new act clutch, the tranny shop that i got my quife lsd from is suppling me with a new quife lsd cus it was defective, they spotted that this afternoon thank god. ill have it back tuesday. but im gonna see if i can get quife to pay for the new tranny cus its there equipment that broke my tranny.

i jus talked to the my friend that works for the shop that installed my lsd, they are calling quife tomorrow and they are gonna see what happens. but either way im getting my car back on tuesday. ive done a lot of business with rre.

actually i had no wheel hope at all, well i did a couple of times till i relearned how to launch with it. i really like the lsd its awesome, specially for turns.

Yeah turns kick ass with Quaife LSD's, my car in straight line acceleration doesnt do too well, wheel hop, wheelspin.. :( oh well.. good luck man

Bad luck dude, sorry to hear you grenaded the tranny, but if the company pays for all of it its all good :) Props for running against the Camaro, and a definate big thumbs up to the camaro driver for not leaving ya high and dry on the side of the road, and getting it towed for ya. Thats what its all about! Believe me I have pulled a few of the sick ones back to base myself, doesn't matter if they are mitsu, mazda or a nissan, they get the same treatment, the guy broke we gotta get him home, cause if he broke against me I either want another chance at him, or want to finish the run we started :)
