89 Supra Turbo or 92 240sx w/ sr20det

the supra is a BOAT compared to the 240SX. The two forty would handle alot nicer, but the straight sixer can have some decent drag potential. Those supras are infamous for blowing their head gaskets, though.

The 240 obviously isn't stock, because a SR20DET is a j-spec engine. If you decide on that, make sure the conversion was done correctly. But done right, it will be faster than the Supra. :p

so the 240 has the sr20det motor. I dunno if i would trust someone elses work. Personally i would like to do the work myself or have the work done by who i want. If you ask me i would go supra. The head gasket thing is true. I haven't had to change my though...i get real good compression. That's just a days worth of work though. After that it'll only take a couple thousand in mods to make it screem with the stock turbo. I just love the feel of the torque the turbo supra puts out...not sure if the 240 will match. But the 240 will handle better.

yeah i'd really be concerned about driving a car that already has an engine swap. if you do get it be sure to get it checked by a reliable mechanic. anyways TRDunlimited where do you live? just to make sure the 240sx is gonna be street legal.
