damn what to do

i will need to find a car to buy for myself, my mom is taking my car away because(she payed for it)and she caught me racing my friend. i was around the block from my house and my friend (who had been talking shit)caught up to me at a stop light so we took of when the light turned green and i raced straight past my mom( she saw me but i didnt see her). after the race we pulled into jack in the box and my cell phone rang, it was my mom she said she came home for lunch and on her way back to work she saw me racing and for me to go home and park my car so i did it and she came home and took the keys so now i am assed out.

so now i am looking for a car to buy with my own money right now i only have $2100 dollars what should i get,please help:confused: :( :(

oh ya but on the good side i won, my friend was in a celica gts:D

I've had the same thing happen to me... but didnt get the car taken away.. You probably can get it back if you just tell her to drive you here and there, blah blah blah...


$2100 isnt gonna get much of a fast car... maybe a bucket Rx7 that needs a rebuild. Or a beat down mustang SVO .

maybe try ebay. i have been looking on there alot but dont really wanna take the chance. i am looking for a 300z cause to me its the next best thing to a supra and i will never be able to afford one, happy hunting.

For $2100, look for a late 60's - early 70's (pre 74) Dodge Dart/Duster/Demon/Valiant with a V8. They can usually be had pretty cheap, and there's a big aftermarket for the 318/340/360 engines.
They're also pretty safe. I rearended a stopped Ram in my 74 Scamp at 30mph. The damage was minor; $300 for a junkyard fender/hood/grille/radiator and a new water pump and it was back running again.

i am through with a race car now i am going to do a show car do you think i will be able to get a 94-2000 acura integra sedan for like $4000 because i will be coming across some money soon.

why buy another car to put in your moms name?
i will put the car in my grandmothers name i just have to promise her i won't race because she knows i wont lie to her.

uh.... my 94 auto ls is about 7000 blue book value..... so..... in order for you to find a 94 for 4000 u mite wanna
1. look at ebay.
2. look at police auctions
3. find someone who is desperate to sell their car,
4. find something thats salvaged?

hmm.... might be kinda tough.... get a 92 or 93. theyre not bad.


besides, if ur gona go all show, where u gona get the money if u spend it all on a car? just wonderin u kno

and if you're under 18 you are allowed to own a car. My friend owned 4 before age 18: an MGB, a VW Fox, a Porsche 914, and a VW Westfalia. All were titled and insured in his name.

i doubt you'll find one in good condition. a second gen integra might fit that price range. but some advice, you won't win many shows if any with an integra.

94 ls integra was sold to my cousin for 3500..... also a stick... bu tthere are some minor damage to it... they say its not salvage..... but it has been several trials of breaking into.... most of the front is stripped... dont you call that salvage??? no boot whole console is gone... the steering will shiet is gone... they even tried the ecu... isnt that called salvage.. and the bodykit is somewhat fucked up.....

it depends on what state you live in... but here in california...techniqually you are not allowed to own a car if you are under 18, HOWEVER, its not like DMV checks the age of the person registering the car. -Ninja

well...if i were you i would make my mom run me everywhere...you might get your back...but would save my money up and get a rsx type-s just because iv seen them as some bad ass show cars...but there expensive...

don't get an rsx type-s, for about half the price of one you can have a 12second car. anyways universal pimp, be patient for now, there's not to many great cars you can get for $2100, i suggest saving up and aiming for $5000 which could get you a car with lots of potential.

avoiding the "not smart to race in a residential neighborhood" comments due to obvious potential danger to you n pedistrians n other vehicles since others have already mentioned it for me; it's gonna be hard, not impossible, to find a good running car at your budget. you have several options. wait things out n your moms will probably let this incident go n you can still drive the car, use that budget as a down payment on another car, save up a little more so you have a bigger budget on a better car, or you can check out the local car aunctions and police repos. maybe you'll be lucky n find a good running drug car that didn't get searched properly n you'll find extra cash for other uses. :D
