View Full Version : Tranny Problems...Help?

Well i had my tranny taken out for inspection and all the gears were fine just 3rd and 4th grind some..As we were putting it back in everything went fine and i went for a test drive through 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th havent tried but seems fine..but when i try to shift to 5th and or reverse gear it wont go into gear..im thinking it could be the shift linkage is off a little...anyone else have some idea's? thanks!

reverse and 5th are on the same shift rodand share the same slider. my guess is that there is somethign wrong inside the trans

maybe you dropped a doughnut in there when you were putting it back togther.
