Ok I have no idea what my clutch is doing. When I go to shift gears and I take my foot all the way off the clutch pedal, it sounds like I'm sliping. It's really hard to explain, but it's not acting like the clutch it used to. It's all weird. Does this mean my clutch is going out? or too many notches in my flywheel? If you have any clue can you please help! Thanks!

my clutch lets out near the top. I don't think it's a hydraulic clutch, but I don't know for sure. I drive a 99 infiniti G20t. As for step by step I'll try to explain it the best I can. When I take off I slowly let off the clutch as I push the gas in. My foot is all the way off the clutch and it sounds like I still have it in, in other words it sounds like it is sliping. Does the same for every other gear except 5th. And i'm not a new manual driver, I've been driving my car for awhile. But i'm not the first person to have my car, so I didn't do all the wearing out.

Does it feel like you're suddenly a pro at shifting?:p
I think my clutch is going too, I'm engaging the gears wayyy too smoothly :(

If you find that yourself reving high before it catchs its time for a new clutch other then that im not sure. But i had a problem where my clutch would go down but not back up again hehe.:D

prolly need a new clutch or possibly have them check your play on your clutch...just go to a clutch warehouse place or something and have them diagnos test run for free!

thanks this helps. i guess it's going out, b/c the revs high thing is what it's doing. i don't think we have a clutch warehouse like that around here, i'll have to take it to the dealer. thanks a lot!

when i let go of my clutch it kinda makes a clicking sounds...i run on a 99 honda civic ex...bought it used...when me and my friends checked the clutch the sound seemed to be coming from a little wire pipe running from where my carb or intake manifold towards my clutch areaas i slowly let go of the clutch..around the catching point click click click...

Yea if ure clutch is catching that high it prolly is in need of a new one although mine was just doing the same thing u were saying was happening to ures a month ago. I thought i needed a new one so i took it down but. they said the master was still good and all that had to be done was 4 it to be bleed. i have a hydrolic clutch though. newaze hope all went well 4 u.

Well it turns out that my clutch was going out, so I took it to the dealer to be replaced on Friday. So it didn't get to go w/ me to NOPI, but I get it back tomorrow. Thanks for your help!
