does anyone have this setup and if so, how much faster is your car. i have a 95 b18c1 and i have the manifold but im also plannign on getting the ECU. does the vtec pull harder. does it kick in sooner? and whats the redline on the ECU?

guy in my crew has that setup...I drove and worked on his car myself...The skunk2 manifold and ecu are a good combo. You will feel a harder pull at VTEC (not much but youll feel it) ...the vtec how ever does not kick in sooner and he redlines at 9300-9500. But he has cams head work and other mods. so to make it short your VTEC lagg will go away and you will definately hear the vtec my louder.

get a set of skunk2 cams or ITR cams.....

with only intake manifold and ecu it wont make that much of a difference on a stock B18C1....because the GSR cams are ground to make power for the dual intake runner intake manifold

on the skunk 2 ecu the vtec engages at 5800
the skunk 2 ecu my friend had had no redline
a set of cams will help u a great deal

I agree, the only way you can make an ITR or Skunk 2 manifold worthwhile is from hotter cams. A good choice are the JDM CTR ot ITR cams, you willl see good gains in mid and top end and there OE, you can't beat that quality.
