haha it's a common problem with GS-Ts...over 220ft/lbs of torque + Front wheel drive = tirespin. shit i can get my tires to spin while i'm on a roll.

so its not a problem with the launch... i know gst's have hella power... every car should be like that... jsut get your launch rpms down and find one with good enough torque... u might have to compromise a little wheel spin for some speed... id rather light them up then bog..

yeah i know man, been drivin and racin this car for awhile now. i pull mid-low 14s at the track...most DSMers recommend riding/slipping out the clutch during the launch. its gotten me good results in the past but not anymore. the main problem is my clutch. its slippin hella bad cuz i think its the original one and i already have 114k miles on my car. oh well i guess i have to see how much longer the stock clutch holds;)

i had the car over 3 years now. before that i had a 89 turbo supra:D but yeah, DSM means Diamond Star Motors, it was a joint thing between mitsu and chrysler. the eclipse, talon, and laser are DSMs.
as for mods, if i told you i'd have to kill you!!!:D

Those bikes are my friends. Sure they shouldn’t have done what they did but they are learning their lesson the hard way. The reason the cops showed up was because of the fight. The funny thing was the people that were trying to get the other bikes to do something after the cops took down the first two bikes.

i was out there man. i saw the mob of people so i pulled over and watched from a far. then i saw all the bikes and i was thinkg, "where did all thses guys come from?". and then i saw the cops coming. no one even noticed me cuz i was parked ina cool spot where i could see everything. after the crowd dispersed and most everyone left, i walked to in-n-out. i was chillen in the front and i saw you out across at the raley's parking lot with another eclipse and 2 bikes. i was tryin to wave but you didn't see me.

i got my ball joint recall done beginning of august, along with "major service".

powerline is mainly from 707. well... 5lbs i usualy run 14s on street tires. ran a high 13 on 7lbs. thats only when my motor was still cool. now i got like 132,000+ miles on my car and problems from boostin too much. i have a heavy foot. :D

Your car gots some good times! Im in a crew called "Penhurst" and theres only 3 of us left who's still into racin. Everyone moved on to bikes. Mainly I role up with Mike aka Newbie or Tam aka Alltraxion from Oakland to spots where its not too hot. I hate drivin around for hours and no runs. Right now, we are juss lookin around for new tracks around the bay and keepin it for Privates. You guys located in Fairfield or Vallejo area?

actually.. most of the time, they cut the siren before it sounds off. the best thing to do is have a backup battery or siren that doesnt cut out when the wire is snipped. also throw an autolock and the club on your car so the fagit asses dont steal it.
