I don't really know much bout bikes and shit. But wat does SVP's bikes got? I can't really tell what's stock or whats after market and shit. All i gotta say is fuck they know how to ride like its nuthing. I bet if rode one probably a min. later i just fall.. hah..

They the guys that cruise around Monty doing stunts and stuff? I know most of them have an aftermarket pipe, and I would guess that at least some of them have swapped thier carb jets too.

There was 1 guy last weekend at Junction who could make his bike backfire through the pipe at will, didn't get a close look to see how it was done, but he seemed to pretty good (doing wheelies, christs, and stuff like that)

well a few of them have pipes, but other than that it's stock. all of the bikes are 2000 or 2001 models.

Cuz my uncle rides a 2001 Aprilia i forget what model but he had to go to school and learn all that crazy shit especially to make those tight ass runs at 100+ Keep it real guys

If you want to backfire on will:
while riding along, press the kill switch,
then after a second, turn it back on and press the starter.
it will go bang.

The sound is the unburned fuel in the exhaust being burnt when you fire up the engine.

from what i understand it is not possible to do with a FI bike.
I have also heard that repeated use can cause problems, such as bent rods. I knew a guy who blew out the packing on his cbr, and it caught fire.
Still pretty neat trick, you can blast at unnatentive drivers.

DNR'S BIKE CAN DO IT THE LOUDEST, I THINK. IT LOOKS, AND SOUNDS CRAZY ESPECIALLY ON THE FREEWAY.
MRHELLO KNOWS WHAT HE'S TALKING ABOUT, THAT'S EXACTLY HOW YOU DO IT, BUT SOMETIMES IT'S HARDER ON OTHER BIKES. THE FUEL INJECTED BIKES ARE USALLY HARDER TO DO THAT WITH, YOU MIGHT HAVE TO DO IT A FEW TIMES, AND PRETTY QUICK TO MAKE IT ACTUALLY POP. THE GSX-R'S ARE FUEL INJECTED SO IT'S A LOT HARDER BUT A FEW OF THE GUYS CAN DO IT. THE R-1'S AND THE R-6 AREN'T FUEL INJECTED SO THEY CAN POP THE LOUDEST, AND SPIT OUT FLAMES EASILY. I DUNNO EXACTLY DAVE WAS TELLING ME ABOUT IT. HE SAID SOMETHING THAT HAS TO DO WITH THE WAY THAT THE FUEL IS RUNNING. MY WORDS ARE NOT EXACT, BUT SOMETHING LIKE THAT.

Ive ridden with Tony a few times,and I have to say that that guy is pretty a pretty fucking good rider. One of the best local Stand Up wheelie guys around for sure. I saw him up at HWY 9 one time...he can definitely ride. As far as the rest of SVP...are you guys into extreme shit only,or do you like to rip the canyons too?
