Just bought me a 01 Suzuki SV650. Having it delivered tomorrow.
The dealer lowered the price $200 and... "because of the lower price, you aren't required to have MC insurance".

Anyone ever hear of this? The bike price was $5599 + tax etc...
I was gonna get comp and everything because it's financed, but if I don't have to, I'll just get liability.

Congrats on the new bike...how long have you been riding?

I had a couple of 70s Enduro 250s about a year ago, but never rode on the street before. So far I've put 110 miles on the bike in 2 days, took it out on the freeway for the first time last night. Scared shitless! :) Definitely going to get a 1/4 fairing for it to block some of the wind, but I'm liking this bike.
