So, I'm on my way home from work tonight, when I see a new drk blue/black? SS tailing me from McCarthy ranch ont to 237/calaveras Blvd. he was revving and flashing, but I did not acknowledge because I am not brave/stupid enough to race in downtown milpitas, but he followed me onto the 680 freeway, we line up at about 65 mph, I down shift to fourth, while he down shifts to 3rd( i have never ran anyone on the freeway before) he pulled on me.right as he passes I see his shift lgiht go off, so, I then realize I should have been in third too, "DUH", I say to myself. Oh, well...we both get off 680 and we give each other props....so as I leave him, I continue home onto Washington Blvd as I am at the light by Quick stop, a new silver SS complete w/ dealer plates pulls up next to me...I am thinking to myself "what are the odds of two new SS's running me on my way home", but sure enough he throws revs (stock revs) and I return the favor, light turns green, I launch way too hard...wheel hop like a mofo...but drag races I am better at, so I work some clutch magic, get some tire bite to the pavement and throttled it up till I saw that shift light screaming at me, and I busted em a lot loose in 2nd, it kicked out to the right, but I correct the mistake and pull up to 6700, slam it into 3 rd, a very nice two second squel from the tires...pull a little into 3 rd gear and look a car length back to see the silver SS losing a little ground, I let off because of the up-coming stoplight, and he rolls up next to me and gave me props for " a pretty fast convertible" I acknowledge, and turn left onto my street. I won, but I must admit, I didn't beat that car by much...and it was stock....those new SS's have some big balls for a stock car. I'm dying to know what that 1st dark blue SS had done to it...I think i heard aftermarket exhaust, but I can't be sure, I couldn't hear much over the sound of my car...I think I'll really need nitrous now...
