So i have my 91 mr2 and its mid-engined and i've been told its an awesome car for drifting because of the weight distribution and i guess that good for drifting which i dont know S@#! about i was wondering if anyone could give me an idea on if mid engine cars are good for it for future reference.

I would suppose that due to a mid engine's better front to back balance it would be harder to initiate a drift unless you have a higher power to weight ratio to get the rear end to slip.

The Drift Bible says it all....

The Drift King breaks down every platform, from FR, MR, FF, and 4WD...

well, in Tokyo Drift all the cars were front engine.....so I would say front engine is best for drift.

They also show a full custom RB conversion in a 1st Gen Mustang being done in a matter of days so yeah.
