went up against an s4 with rs4 turbos and side mounts. intake. gutted downpipes... not quite sure what else. says he runs about 23 psi but it was pretty hot outside so neither of us were making that great of power....

either way... i still killed him pretty good. had 5-8 car lengths on him by the top of 4th sometimes more.

had someone in a camera car....who couldn't figure out how to work the camera...and just got bits and pieces of the pulls. lol

my buddy taped a little pull between us to see how we matched up after my new tune..... before the tune he destroyed me pretty badly. This turned out more in my favor

Hes probably running Open ECU with a Tactrix cable. Think I read he is on E85 which boosted cars love, although what he said for power numbers really hasnt made much sense as I am not sure which turbo he is on. On an Evo 8 with an Evo9 turbo, 272 or bigger cams (preferably Crower, Kelford, or JUN 280's) cams, e85, exhaust, and injectors we pretty regularly see 400, maybe a touch more, and the cars really become pretty serious, pulling very hard. Anything bigger than stock, say GT3065 or so, and you have a real beast on your hands.
I prefer using AEM EMS to tune the "bigger" E8's and 9's (I did some of the beta work on the Evo9 box) as opposed to OpenECU, but a lot of people have had decent results with the OpenEcu, including me :) I actually kept the Tactrix cable in my car for a long time, but when I put it back out on the road it will likely have the AEM EMS in it.

Decent run too :)

yeah it's open ecu tuned by bryan of gst.

my tune was on a mustang dyno that's why my numbers are lower than what you see from some other similarly set up evos... if i was on a dynojet i would have been well over 400 hp.

that run was from 20 to about 140ish
