Ok so my friend at the shop has a honda in his garage just sitting there.
So i ask to take it he says 2grand thats nothing boom.
Problem is the thing looks like it just came out the junker.
Has damn near 200,000 miles:eek: and yeah its shit
Need some advice on wether i should just trash it
or should i just work the body interior then just tear it apart and work ground up
Thanks

there is no such thing as $2000.00 honda beater.....

for a 91 CRX, $2k should get you a running car.

WHOA..... a blast from the past...a Honda CRX question....haven't had one of these questions in years...2000 thousand dollars for a non running junker......NO.....for 2 grand you should've bought rims for the supra.

For 2k you should have gotten that engine you wanted to swap in.

ahh yeah but i owed him the money. in a way i got it for free. when i went to florida someone keyed my car on both sides and he fixed it and i never paid him for it.

But i took a look at it and the gasket was like completly destroyed a couple rings were twisted and it cleary needs a new spark. i don't even know how the car runs without every type of liquid in it just gushing out.

Sorry my bad I was in a hurry I meant to type. Too bad it's not a newer civic. Cause if it were you could try to repair it to get it running add a few stickers and sell it to some ricer high school kid. But not a Civic crx, I'm sure we can all agree that selling it to get riced out would be a shame.

Yeah forsure, you'd be suprised at what kids buy these days
They either get there dad to buy them a new sedan or something

Get a car with a v8 and think they can outrun everyone

or get a beater and throw a spoiler on it.
I can get it running replace the gaskets and rings
then throw a old spoiler on it and some mufflers and sell it to some highschool kid for like 4 or 5 grand :D:D

Don't you dare selling such a good car just to get turned into an F*ing ricer car. That would be a real shame.

honestly, with the state of the economy today, I WOULD.

(just so I could go out, buy a "little h/c/stroker setup", and have some fun)

I get what you are saying extreme but wouldn't you rateher see this car going to someone who will really release the full car's potential rather than to someone who will just rice it out.

if its free......

a single cam, and a 75hp wet nitous system would be cheap and fun.

Ah i think im just going to save it for a project maybe make a k20 swap or b16? i know ill need new engine mounts and replace some things on the new engine because its most likely going to be JDM and all that good stuff some work on the suspension clearly if i want a k20.

heheh...personally i am buying a 91' CRX as my first fast car 138.000km

Dont worry about the crx performance V-tecs are just undead engines no matter how much and for how long you push them..... a v-tec (crx) can roll for 300.000km EASILY without the slightest problem not even if you rev the sh*t out of it.....

Its lightweight, fast (160bhp), v-tec..... with the right tuning it becomes a nice pocket weapon
