This last weekend I raced my friend a quarter mile in my car with a d16z6 with a Dc sports header and an intake and he had a 4 door early nineties accord with no mods but has an h22 swap in it. He beat me by 6 inches!!! I was staying with him the entire way. We hit about 95 mph and I Just about crapped myself. It was my first race and I was VERY pleased. I can't even explain the rush I got from racing. It isn't even the going fast part. That I can deal with easily. But just that first 1v1 race really got my heart racing. In this video, I am the one on the left. Sorry for the poor quality. It was recorded with a video camera. By the way this is post #1 I plan to have many more videos and some tutorials on lambo doors for my car and MANY other things I plan to do like putting in a new clutch and a new hood and a new header and the list goes on. But hello everyone I hope I will like it here.

That is too fast for me. I have considered a GSR or something along those lines. But they are so expensive. And I wouldnt want to boost it. I like my quick little fuel saving Civic I got right here. Although, mid 10's sure would be great to brag about. :D

Last night I raced my friend in his B16 and he beat me by about 4 car lengths. After about 3rd gear I stayed with him pretty easily but man did he whoop me. ;) Isnt the b16 a direct swap into my car?

nope. D16z6-B16A (or any B-series) is not a direct swap. Granted, less involved than a k-20, k-24, or h-22 swap, but still, it is very involved.

Darn. I was hoping it would be an easy swap. Well not like any are "easy" but my friend wants to sell me his with 40k on it for $450. Tranny with same mileage for 200. I am gonna take it I think.
