y0 guys just wanted to know what is everyone's favourite filter/intake system.Well,my personal favourite is the K&N intakes, they're not as expensive as all the other good brands and they're durable! But if given the choice I would definitely opt for some cold air induction kit.Which brand?dunno, cos I never bothered to know which is good cos I can't afford it anyway.
So guys, tell your favourite brand and type and the reason,e.g. fuel efficiency, sound, power, throttle response blah blah blah.

peace

I have the AC autotechnic intake with their filter too. Had the AEM cold air but had less performance out of it as I could tell. My car acts and feels better since I've been using the AC intake.

I like my plain K&N filter for $35. Cheap and it gets the job done in 12 seconds!

Did I get a bad AEM intake or what. I had worse luck with the AEM intake then my stock intake. Now that I have the AC I feel alot more pick up when I floor it. Hmmmmmm maybe I got a lemon intake.

Yeah, Iceman intakes are supposed to be good because they have that velocity-stack design, and they can be changed from a cold-air intake to an underhood intake. I don't think that's a feature on the AEM one. I have the AEM CAI, and I felt a little better throttle response, but that was it. They're all the same if you ask me, :p.

For N/A
AEM Cold Air (any color) with K&N Filter. IMO the best intake out there.
Well, the Comptech ICEBOX is pretty cool also (for Civic Si)

For SC'd honda:
a Jackson Racing or a AEM short ram intake is actually better for this. Or any 3" diameter short intake will do. SC's like the larger diameter, shorter intakes better from my research. Just gotta get some type of heatshield to block out that engine heat...

Laters!
